Long week

Well, it's been another long week. Sunday and Monday I was sick again. Everyone keeps saying that after the first tri-mester it should get better. Well I'm at 12 weeks now so anytime would be good. The doctor told me to start taking Zyrtec. So I've been doing that and so far so good. Both grandma's are home now and doing well. Thank you for the prayers and good thoughts. Braden had prom last week in Kenmare with his girlfriend. I posted a picture so you can all see. He keeps telling me that he looks like a young Tom Cruise...oh how big his head is.....mom and I are going to the Dakota Rose bed and breakfast tomorrow for the church spring gathering. It should be fun. I like spending as much time with my mom as I can. She's pretty special!

Update!

Well grandma Lorraine is still in the hospital and her blood count is still low. They will be giving her another blood transfusion sometime today. Grandma Vi was admitted to the hospital yesterday morning and is supposed to have the fluid drained from her lungs sometime today. Thanks for all of the prayers and concerns. I truly believe that prayer is a magical thing.

It all happens in one day!

Have you ever had a day that feels like it just takes forever to get through and anything that can go wrong seems to go wrong exactly on the same day? That was my day on Tuesday! It started out ok, I got to sleep in a little because I had a doctors appointment. Got done with that and everything went well. Got to work and things were going ok, then bam! Got a phone call....grandma Lorraine has been brought to Minot by ambulance. When you get that call of course the worst runs through your head.....So....I stop whatever I was doing immediately and took off towards the hospital. Grandma has some internal bleeding which we then find out is a bleeding ulcer. After several hours at the hospital my mom tells me that I look exhausted and that I need to go home. Also: I have to open for work today so that means I have to be up at 5:15 a.m. So I go home....I call my husband when I get home to see where he is at (he was working up in Bottineau that day) and he states...I'm at my great grandma's house and I need to bring her down to the ER. Seriously! So here I am on this Wednesday morning at 6:15 a.m. at work already for the day...with very little sleep. Please say a prayer for both our grandma's and hopefully everything will be fine! I just need to catch on some zzzzz's.

Morning Sickness

Ok, I understand that in the end I will have this beautiful baby and everything will be great. But right now, I'm kinda not likin' the whole morning sickness which isn't so much morning sickness as it is most of the day especially the evening/night sickness. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know. I have tried the following and they have not worked: Powerade, Seabands, queasy drops, ginger tea, lots of water, and switching the time I take my pre-natal vitamins. But I just need to keep telling myself this won't last forever and it's all worth it!

My first time!

Welcome! Ok so this is my very first time blogging so bear with me. First I will tell you a little about me. I am a 24 year old North Dakotan that has lived here her whole life. About 7 years ago I met the man of my dreams and we got married this past November 17, 2007. I can't believe that it's all over! And now we are expecting a baby in November. Wow life comes at you fast. Tyler is my husband and he is originally from the Upham area. He was living in Vegas for about a year doing some construction down there but his heart belongs up here in farm country. We recently started our own business Turbo's Construction. Tyler is definately handy and is already very busy with different projects. I have worked for Command Center Inc. the only staffing agency in Minot for over 5 years now. I can't believe it's been that long! I have posted some wedding pictures for you to look at. Hope you enjoy and even though life is super busy I will try to blog as much as possible. Thanks for checking in!
